The pump is used for Ecosoft P'URE reverse osmosis filters where mains supply is too low. 
 
We recommend connecting the pump if the water pressure is low (less than 3 bar) or unstable. In this case, the filter will work effectively, and the water of ideal pressure will always be in your kitchen.
