Understanding your Water Report

It is important to note that the results from your water analysis are from a singular point in time and can fluctuate over time. For this reason when sizing a water treatment system it should not be operated at its absolute limits. We will also advise you on some best practices to ensure the longevity of both your equipment and resin (if applicable).

The European Union (Drinking Water) Regulations 2014 (S.I. 122 of 2014) have been replaced by the European Union (Drinking Water) Regulations 2023 (SI99 of 2023), this has been converted into an Irish Statute that governs minimum water quality parameters for consumption.

If any of your water parameters exceed what is listed then treatment should be carried out to ensure the water is of a suitable standard for consumption.

Note for conversions:

1000μg/l = 1mg/l = 1ppm

1μg/l = 1ppb

*Turbidity does not have a particular limit but generally if the value is above 4.0 it should be treated.

From January 2026 there will be a new requirement to test for Bisphenol A, Chlorate, Chlorite, Haloacetic Acids, Microcystin-LR, PFAS Total, Sum of PFAS and Uranium.

Existing and new Installations

For replacements cartridges and parts for existing installations just contact us and we will quickly let you know everything required.

For new installations we can talk you through a complete installation. The best place to start is to have a water test done to see what type of water treatment you need. Contact us and we can put you in touch with our testing partner. Please note we do not offer an installation service.
