These Italian made units are the very effective back-wash, sediment filters. Ideal for reducing heavy sediment before finer filtration. This reduces premature blocking of your consumable filters reducing change out frequency and ultimately cost. The sediment is cleared via a hand turn of the valve at the bottom of the filter housing.
