In 2023 EcoSoft updated there range to the following:
- 5 stage units without mineralisation (post-carbon as the 5th stage)
- 5 stage units with mineralisation (mineralisation as the 5th stage)
- Many customers will be used to the old 6 stage with mineralisation, you now have a choice, buy 6 stage cartridges like before or you can buy the "5 stage units with mineralisation" option, this will give you the same performance as the new 2023 models without the extra cartridge needed.
This means in units with mineralisation the 5th stage is a mineral filter. In stage without mineralisation the 5th stage is a post-carbon filter. With this change performance is maintained while cost is reduced.
Stage 1: 5-micron porous polypropylene filter that reduces contents of sand, silt, scale and other insoluble compounds.
Stage 2: Activated coconut shell carbon cartridge. The filter reduces content of chlorine, concentration of toxic heavy metals, natural organic matter and oil products.
Stage 3: Final fine filtration. The cartridge reduces contents of sand, sludge, scale and other insoluble compounds exceeding the size of 1 micron.
The 4th stage of filtration is reverse osmosis membrane, which purifies the water from 99.8% of impurities including bacteria and viruses. The membrane replicates the natural structure of the plant membrane.
The 5th stage of the water treatment includes the carbon post-filter. It contains high-quality activated coconut shell carbon which improves taste and odor of the purified water.
Stage 6: Ecosoft mineralization filter corrects mineral composition of water, pH and its organoleptic properties.
