Service Life and Operating Efficiency
The UV LED modules have a service life of approximately 3,000 hours while water is actively flowing through the system. During standby, the unit remains illuminated at around 30 percent output ensure constant sterilisation, but this reduced‑power mode does not count toward the 3,000‑hour service life calculation.
Because the system uses LED technology rather than traditional UV lamps, there are no annual consumables such as quartz sleeves or replacement bulbs. This results in a noticeable long‑term saving compared with conventional UV systems, which require yearly lamp changes.
In real‑world household or light‑commercial use, the expected lifetime of the LED module is several years, depending on daily water consumption and flow duration.
